New Jersey Laboratories offers analytical testing following USP, FCC, and in-house methods, as well as any proprietary methods provided by our clients upon request. If you require custom methods, we will work with you to create a method that suits your needs.

  • Elemental Analysis – Elemental analysis is a fairly new type of testing performed on heavy metals that are quickly growing in demand.

  • Enzyme Activity – the measure of the quantity of active enzyme present and is thus dependent on conditions, which should be specified.

  • Vitamin Analysis – Fat Soluble and Water Soluble Vitamins

  • Amino Acids – assessing vitamin/mineral cofactors that affect amino acid metabolism and provide insight into protein digestion

  • BioChemicals –Steroidals, Alkaloids & Related compounds

  • Sugars –Inositol, Maltose, Manitol, Sorbitol, Sucrose

  • Additional Testing – We will work with you to find a testing solution.

USP & General Tests

The USP establishes primary standards for ensuring quality in pharmaceutical development & manufacturing. USP Reference Standards are rigorously tested and evaluated by multiple independent commercial, regulatory, and academic laboratories to confirm accuracy and reproducibility.

FDA Deficiency Letters

All manufacturers of finished products, packaging, and raw materials are required to abide by the law and adhere to strict compliance requirements. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration often finds deficiencies in laboratory testing. Such oversights can cost companies thousands to millions of dollars in delays in submissions and approvals, recalls, or interruptions in manufacturing.

The FDA review staff often identify the need for additional information prior to approving a product for the market and often request such additional information in an FDA Deficiency Letter. If you have received an FDA Deficiency Letter and need help addressing the issues raised, please reach out to us. We have helped many clients test for the deficiencies identified by the FDA, and provide responsive reports addressing the deficiency letters within the required timeframe.
